5-SLN launches App for Android Mobile Phones2016-07-01

5-SLN is pleased to announce the launch of our Mobile App for Android phones.

It can be downloaded via Google Play and searching on "5-SLN" or by clicking on this link.  Once downloaded to your Mobile/Cell phone, the Username is your email address and your Password is your 5-SLN Access Code (which, if forgotten, can be retrieved here).

This App fully utilizes all the functions of your Mobile Phone with interactive Phone Numbers, Texting, Emailing, Chating, etc.  We will soon be adding additional features such as interactive Skype, ability to set up a 5-SLN Contact Group, On-Line Quote requests, Conference Bookings and many other options!

All the App data originates from Member Profiles, so please ensure that your data is current including Key Contacts, Emails, Mobile/Cell Numbers, Skype and Photos, etc.  Member Profiles can be updated here.

If you have an I-Phone, our App will soon be available for download.  Our App was developed to be compatible with I-Phones but the approval process takes longer.

The launch of this App represents a significant investment in time and effort by our webmaster and our sincere thanks to him - especially considering that, after developing the beta software, in May 2016, there was a significant update to the developer platform which forced major re-writes. 

5-SLN has a commitment to our Members to be on the leading edge of technology.  If a website URL is NOT in https:// format (instead of http://) and is not Mobile friendly, it is using older technology and not keeping pace with the times.  5-SLN believes that we are the first global network to launch a Mobile App facility for its members and we look forward to being able to bring additional developments to you.

5-SLN to be first to launch App for mobile phones2016-06-13

5-SLN is aiming to be the first network to launch an App for mobile phones.  Although the 5-SLN website has been mobile-friendly for some time, this App will take communications to the next level as it will be fully interactive with other applications on your mobile phone including Contacts, Emails, SMS Texting, Maps, Skype, etc. 

This exciting development will initially only be available on Android phones while we seek approval from Apple.  Further details to follow but if any member would like to volunteer as beta-tester, please let us have your Google Play email address.
